Dr Charlotte Spence
Lecturer in Ancient History at St Hilda’s College, Oxford
Dr Spence is a social and cultural historian whose research focuses on conceptions of the dead and the divine in ancient curse tablets. She previously held her first academic post at New College and is the author of the forthcoming monograph 'Appeals to the Supernatural in Ancient Curse Tablets.'
